What Causes Skin Tags and What Are They?
Skin tags are little soft growths that occur where extra layers have grown in the top layers of the skin. They are usually harmless and can appear as an individual or as a cluster.
They often appear where the skin rubs and typically appear on:
- neck
- under arms
- around bum
- under breasts
While there’s nothing we can do to prevent them, they can be successfully removed easily, with the right treatment.
How To Remove Skin Tags
At Renew, we have 2 different methods for removing skin tags: Thermavein and Cryotherapy. You can find out more by clicking on the individual treatments.
As a quick summary, Thermavein utilises a pulse of energy to remove skin tags, whereas Cryotherapy uses extreme cold to blast off unwanted skin tissue. Both options deliver fantastic results.
Depending on the method, type of skin tag and how many are being removed, the skin tag(s) may be removed in 1-4 sessions.
