ULTRASOUND SKIN TIGHTENING

What is an Ultrasound Aesthetics Treatment?

Ultrasound therapy has been around since the 1980s, with incredible therapeutic properties and fantastic results. Ultrasound is a sound wave which creates vibrations of the cell within the skin, creating heat that will penetrate through the dermal layers of the skin. This warming and heating action is one of the most important factors of ultrasound.

The cells become temporarily permeable allowing the application of products to be easily absorbed. This in turn will stimulate collagen production, elastin and hyaluronic acid, remove dead skin cells, increase circulation and lymphatic drainage, even out skin tone and increase hydration, while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

The final result of the vibration is a strong hydration of the skin, accelerated blood circulation, strengthening of the skin tissues and increased cell metabolism. Leaving a tightening, lifting effect.

What Can Ultrasound Improve?

Ultrasound enhances the penetration of products into the skin, restoring natural vibrancy while helping to lift and tighten the skin. It is particularly effective for skin concerns related to ageing.

An ultrasound aesthetic treatment can therefore help with the appearance of loose, sagging, crepey skin, puffiness and dark under eye circles. In addition it increases cell production, targets hyperpigmentation and acne.

Ultrasound Treatment Combinations

Ultrasound is a great “add-on” to other treatments. It can also help to prepare your skin for further procedures.

We love to combine Ultrasound with facials, Radio-Frequency, Boost + Glow and Superficial Peels.
