A popular facial treatment among celebrities, a PRP Facial (also known as a “Vampire Facial”) is a natural therapy that harnesses the power of your body’s own platelet rich plasma to rejuvenate the skin by:
PRP Facials are carried out in our Cheshire Clinic, by medically-trained Medical Aesthetics Nurses. For the treatment they take a small amount of your blood, separate its components in a centrifuge, and push the platelet rich plasma into your areas of concern, but either microneedling, injections or a combination of both.

A PRP facial can be used across many areas of the face and body, including:
During your free consultation, our Aesthetics Nurse will determine if a PRP Facial is an appropriate treatment for your skin concerns. They will also review your medical history, as patients with certain blood clotting conditions, or who are on certain medication may not be suitable for this treatment.
Numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area for about 30 minutes, before being removed. This is effective stuff! During this time, your blood will be drawn and spun in the centrifuge to separate out the platelet rich plasma.
Depending upon your particular needs and treatment area, the Nurse will either inject the PRP into your skin using a sterile, medical needle, or combine it with micro-needling where it will be used in place of a serum. The Nurse may also combine both of these methods.
After treatment, you may experience redness, swelling or bruising, these typically subside within a few days, varying between individuals. Most patients are confident in returning to everyday tasks such as work the next day.
Patients are advised on full aftercare protocol at their appointment.
Depending on the areas being treated, and the method used, the treatment will take around 30- 60 minutes. It will also be necessary to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to apply numbimg cream and take blood.
A PRP Facial can be a one-off treatment, but we recommend a course of 3-6, between 4-6 weeks apart. We then recommend maintenance treatments.
Minimal redness, swelling and bruising.
