Tear Trough Filler
Tear trough filler treatment is the correction and rejuvenation of the tear trough which is the area that is situated below the lower lid and just above the cheeks. A tear trough treatment adds volume back to the tear trough area and also flattens and smooths the area for a younger, less tired looking appearance.
Over time, the tear trough area in both men and women can lose volume and can become more visible, resulting in hollow, dark shadows and subsequently a tired and older looking appearance.
At the beginning of this treatment we will apply numbing cream to the treatment area. Dermal filler is then slowly injected into the tear trough. At Renew Medical Aesthetics, we use a cannula to help achieve better results and with little to no bruising.
After the treatment, we recommend that you don’t apply makeup to the area for at least 4 hours or rub / massage the treatment area.
Varying from patient to patient, the results from a tear trough treatment should last 12- 18 months
