What is Baby Botox?
Heard of baby botox? It’s not a phrase we use normally, but we wanted to give you the lowdown.
So-called baby botox is typically smaller amount of botox, used on patients to combat and prevent the appearance or development of line and wrinkles. There is an assumption that it isn’t a “full” treatment, or a light version.
For us, “baby botox” is more of a patient term than a practitioner term. As always, we charge for the skill, not the ml. So we charge by areas of anti-wrinkle injections, not QUANTITY used. In a similar way to when getting your hair coloured you’re charged by the treatment, not how much dye is used.
We think it’s more useful to think of baby botox as the first steps into the treatment, and something that is useful if you’re planning ahead and looking to prevent lines from forming.
